Hello fellow openmodders,
We are happy to announce version 4.1 of the open agent-based electricity market model AMIRIS. This release features:
- the ability to model flexibility technologies from other sectors coupled to the electricity sector, i.e., flexible electric heating, industrial load-shifting, flexible or bidirectional electric vehicle charging;
- the modelling of competition between these new flexibilities, that mutually impact their dispatch decisions and profitability;
- the consideration of market coupling at the forecaster agent.
An example of how sector-coupled scenarios can be parameterised is now provided in the AMIRIS-Examples. Also, have a peek at what is coming next for AMIRIS at our Roadmap!
