Dear open modelling community,
Energy supply decarbonisation is mandatory, but demand-side mitigation is interesting, too. We search for a PhD student in transport modelling for long-term structural change scenarios in a German lignite region: Job position at Forschungszentrum Jülich
The FZ Jülich hasn’t been a large player in the open modelling field so far, but it’s changing and I’m working with open source models exclusively. The team is very nice and the job is 100% remote except for one day a month.
Please feel free to forward this position to potential candidates with experience in modelling (preferably Python) and the energy/transport transition. Deadline is April 15th. Contact me directly, if you have any questions: m.arnz@fz-juelich.de
Best regards
Marlin
