I recently joined the OpenMod community and would be very interested in participating in the Freiburg workshop on 28–29 September 2026.
I am an Energy Economist from Togo with a PhD in Energy Economics and professional experience in energy access, quantitative analysis and energy policy. I am currently developing my expertise in open energy systems modelling, with a particular interest in applications to energy transition, electricity planning and universal energy access in Africa.
I realise that the official registration deadline has passed, but I would be grateful to know whether there might still be an opportunity to participate, should places be available.
I would also be happy to contribute to discussions from an African/West African perspective.
