Dear all,
I would like to generate feed-in timeseries for a specific location in Germany and thus use the feedinlib.
I was just wondering wether the data compiled in the OpenFRED Project is already available in the feedinlib. I cant really find many informations on the project or the published data.
Does somebody know the current status or can point me to additional informations?
I already found the following informations:
Many thanks!
Tim
The data has been published on the OEP: https://openenergy-platform.org/dataedit/view/climate
The dataset is way too big to be downloaded and processed locally.
Here is an example of how to access the data: https://github.com/oemof/feedinlib/blob/dev/example/load_open_fred_weather_data.ipynb
If you need further help, @birgit.schachler is the expert on this.
Many Thanks for your quick reply!
Is there any kind of documentation or publication describing the data and underlying assumptions, methodology?
best
Tim
Hello @Tim_Scherwath,
please excuse the delayed response. Unfortunately the paper about the weather data is still stuck in the review process. As soon as it is published I can post it here. In the meantime the project’s final report which will be published soon on the RLI website can be of some help (I also sent it to you via e-mail).
Best
Birgit
Dear @birgit.schachler
That was exactly what I was looking for!
Best and many thanks
Tim
