TICTeC Show & Tell events, which will be taking place online in March, April and May 2021. At each event, six speakers from across the world will be given 7 minutes each to share their research and lessons learned related to the impacts of civic technology.
EVENT 1: Scrutiny, oversight & the data that makes it possible, 23 March 2021 15:00–16:00 GMT
Speakers from Open Contracting Partnership, 360 Giving, Integrity Action, ILDA, Code for Pakistan and Carnegie Trust UK will share research, lessons learned and challenges related to open data and transparency and accountability projects.
EVENT 2: Hearing every voice: lessons learned from online deliberation projects, 20 April 2021 15:00–16:00 BST
Speakers from Civocracy, OpenUp SA, ideas42, Grassroot, FutureGov, University of California Irvine and Commonplace will share research and lessons learned on using technology to involve citizens in policy and decision making.
EVENT 3: Empowering communities using geospatial technology, 25 May 2021 15:00–16:00 BST
Speakers from Delib, Kathmandu Living Labs, OpenUp Ukraine, Tanzania Development Trust/Crowd2Map, gov.tw and the Greater London Authority will cover how using geospatial/place based technology empowers local communities and governments alike in planning and policy decisions.
