Omeof spring Meeting 2023 (May 24th to 26th in Stuttgart)

Hi there!

The oemof community will have their annual user meeting end of May. It is open to all who use or develop the software, as well as new users. Traditionally, the spring meetings are very user focussed and also appropriate for those who just started or are about to start using oemof.

We will have the DLR lecture hall in Pfaffenwaldring 38-40 as our plenary room on Wednesday, where presentations can be held and posters can be presented. This way, we want to offer a low-barrier option to share what you do using oemof. These presentations also help identifying shared interests for hands.on-sessions and breakout groups on the following days. Those will take place in STEP 4 (Curiestraße 4). A detailed agenda is under development at Meeting 2023.05 · oemof/oemof Wiki · GitHub.

To register, you can write an email to meetings@oemof.org. Please tell your name and (if applicable) your institution, your GitHub user name, and if you want to present something. Note that meals are self-paid as there is no conference fee.

See you in Stuttgart!

Hi again!

I just wanted to advertise the annual oemof user and developer meeting again which is held at DLR Stuttgart (Germany) from May, 24th to May, 26th.

As always, it will be a great opportunity to exchange with the community of users and devs. If you have already been applying oemof (whatever package), you are very welcome to hold a short presentation and/or to present a poster if you wish to. But that’s not a prerequisite. You can also participate without an own presentation or poster contribution. Even if you are new to oemof, it will be a good place to be in order to assist you in your further oemof journey. If you are thinking of contributing as a new dev, it is a great opportunity to exchange with the more experienced devs and to see how you could get started and how they/we could potentially assist you.

Please find the agenda and the venues here on the oemof Wiki page: Meeting 2023.05 · oemof/oemof Wiki · GitHub

Questions can also be posted in this issue: [meeting] oemof user and developer meeting 2023 · Issue #108 · oemof/oemof · GitHub

To register, you can write an email to meetings@oemof.org. Please tell your name and (if applicable) your institution, your GitHub user name, your nationality (we require your additional nationalities if you have more than one) and if you want to present something. Note that meals are self-paid as there is no conference fee. Note that the deadline for registrations will already be end of next week, i.e. May, 14th.

Looking forward to seeing many of you in Stuttgart.

Best regards,
Johannes
