Dear all,
The Department of Computer and Systems Sciences at Stockholm University is recruiting a PhD student for the ENERPOL project within the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Doctoral Network. The project examines how energy policy shapes households’ incentives to adopt energy-efficiency measures and how the rise of prosumers and electrification affects the competitiveness of power producers.
The research will develop a Nash-Cournot–based bottom-up equilibrium model with flexible demand and variable renewable energy to analyse structural changes in the power sector and its interaction with heat, industry, and transport. The framework will support the design of policies and market mechanisms that address market power, energy-related inequality, and risk in energy markets.
You will join an international and interdisciplinary research network, collaborate with leading European partners, and receive advanced training in environmental economics, behavioural modelling, and policy analysis.
Please review the MSCA Doctoral Network eligibility criteria and apply here:
Best regards,
Xiaoming
