Dear modellers,
we have an opening for a Master thesis at the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems in Oldenburg for the further development of complexity reduction methods in the modelling of sector coupling in the context of the eGon project.
The planned developments include:

List item the comparison of spatial reduction methods with regard to transferability from the electricity sector to the gas sector.

List item helping in the development of an innovative methodology to reduce spatial complexity in modeling across different energy sectors.

List item the documentation of the model developments as well as scripts and data sets in the form of metadata and on the software development environment GitHub.
