Hello everyone,
My name is Kassim Dogawa and I am an Energy Economist from Togo, with a PhD in Energy Economics and professional experience in quantitative analysis, energy access, public policy and development programmes.
My research has focused on the socio-economic and human development impacts of electricity access in Togo, including its effects on household income, infant mortality and school outcomes.
I am currently expanding my expertise in open energy systems modelling, with a particular interest in OSeMOSYS, FlexTool, energy transition, electricity planning and universal energy access, especially in the African context.
I joined OpenMod to learn from experienced modellers, exchange knowledge and contribute my experience in energy economics, quantitative analysis and evidence-based energy policy. I am particularly interested in applications of open modelling tools to energy planning and energy access challenges in Togo and West Africa.
