The Sustainable Energy Systems Integration and Transition (SESIT) group at the University of Victoria, BC, Canada, is seeking a grid modeller to support its work on the Canadian energy transition. The team works with open-source M3 modelling suite and is deeply engaged in supporting the Canadian energy transition, working with policymakers, grid operators, Indigenous peoples, and other stakeholders in the Canadian energy landscape. In addition to the required technical expertise, teamwork and communication skills are a must.
The initial one-year contract is 80k-100k CAD, with possibility of extension. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until 28 August 2026.
