The German Ethics Council (Deutscher Ethikrat) today issued a statement saying that climate justice is central to climate protection. Moreover, council spokesperson Kerstin Schlögl‑Flierl indicated that:
“burdens and responsibilities must be shared fairly in all three dimensions: within society, internationally and intergenerationally”
