I am looking for a quite granular freely usable icon set which is able to distinguish between multiple entities e.g. gas turbines, combined-cycle plants, nuclear, heat pumps, photovoltaics, wind, biomass, pipelines, households, heating networks, electricity networks, …

Moreover, some people told me that they have been looking for this for longer and would also provide some funding to create such an icon set.
My conclusion would be that there is no comprehensive consistent free icon set for energy and power system modelling yet. Thus, we could use this thread to possibly create one on or in the aftermath of the next workshop.
