Session Description
Renovation of the European building stock is considered to be an effective tool to reduce energy demand. In this Do-a-thon I can present my approaches to model retrofitting potential in Europe and would like to exchange ideas/ discuss the following questions in particular:
- what data is available for the European building stock (residential and non-residential)?
- how is the data quality to be assessed?
- which factors are important to model the savings potential on a country-wide level?
